OTTER knives are manufactured and sharpened in Solingen, Germany since 1840, using traditional methods of meticulous handcraftsmanship.

Since brass is a very soft material, small tool marks from the knife manufacturing are hard to avoid. These are not defects, but rather witness to the individuality of the knife.
